Typeface to font

• Typeface - design of the alphabet
• Font - digital file that contains typeface

I used to think that if I created a font I would have to do it all on a computer, idiot. Now I have learnt that I can design a font by hand and import it into Illustrator, vectorise it, and then import into Fontographer to make a functioning font.

I want to make a quick font over the next few days based on a sketch I did at the weekend. This will help me understand how to use Fontographer and also give me a usable font!
