Mug Pub

This looks beautiful! A real inspiration for how polished a design can be while still having a human hand crafted quality to it. This product and range is such inspiration to me on this project and shows how far I could take my original idea.

Evelyns

Indulgent packaging, it looks bad for you because it looks so thick and luxurious. I think my designs need to have a fresher feel. I don't want people to feel guilty for eating a cupcake, but to feel lifter and more positive.

Nobel

This is beautiful packaging and label for the bottle, but it is a bit hard to work out what is inside each bottle, and how they communicate as a range in terms of content. One seems to be alcoholic, which another states it is vinegar, and yet another is mapel syrup. The brand does not fit with the product in my eyes, even though it does look lovely.

Inhouse

Brilliant studio based in New Zealand who have some wicked ranges...

Vilje

Really nice packaging range for Vilje... I think it is a type of breakfast cereal, but the design work well across the different products whilst keeping the same packaging.

Bulletproof creates wallpaper-inspired Ted Baker packaging
Susan Billinge, brandrepublic.com, 20 June 2008, 03:40PM

LONDON - KMI has unveiled an all-new Ted Baker Bodywear fragrance range with packaging created by London design consultancy Bulletproof, which was appointed without a pitch.

KMI owns the King of Shaves brand and licences the Ted Baker brand for fragrances. The new-look Bodywear packaging was developed to revive the range that was first introduced in 2005. Bulletproof's design was created to work across all the Ted Baker Bodywear variants and give the range a cohesive appearance. A bold colour palette was used to distinguish between the different scents, give shelf impact and simplify navigation. Nick Rees, creative director at Bulletproof, said: "Our primary challenge was to address an obvious need to premiumise the range. An extensive male and female range with four different fragrances called for a simple solution. "We created bespoke wallpapers to help segment the four scents with specific quirky, aspirational icons chosen for their male and female appeal. "This provided KMI with a suite of ownable elements that could be translated across all consumer touchpoints." Bulletproof was appointed in February 2007. Since then they have also helped KMI launch Angel Fish, the female version of the Fish hair styling and lifestyle brand.

Charles A. Anderson Design Co

Ok, so I'm not generally a fan of packaging design, its just not my bag.. buuuuut this caught my eye and I love it! Brilliant idea to sell the ingredients in the shaker.

"El Paso Chile Co. is well known for their boutique brands of salsas and marinades. They also have some of the best margarita and cocktail juice blends available on the market. With CSA's help in packaging, they invented a novel way to bring their cocktail flavors to a wider audience by selling glass martini shakers that contain the mixings for finished martinis – just add ice and alcohol."

Bread tag ties

Bread tag ties

Transparent

Alot of food packaging use transparent stock. Sometimes this is nice to see the product but I think it is getting a bit boring.

Food packing to use transparent plastics in my kitchen.

I can see why transparent plastics are used but they are a bit bring and bland. I like that I can see what I'm buying and maybe on a subconscious level I buy it because I know it looks ok. I would like to use a transparent stock for my bread packaging but in a different way... not just a bag.

Range

Warburtons
The Warburtons range.

Warburtons began with Thomas and Ellen Warburton in 1870. Warburtons have their own farmers growing their own wheat. They believe these are the five ways in which they can improve
Managing the stewardship of our supply chain ethically and sustainably.
Minimising the impact of our business on the environment and helping to alleviate climate change.
Keeping our employees safe and well and giving them opportunities for learning and development.
Helping consumers make healthy and environmentally friendly choices.
Supporting charities, organisations and projects in the local community.
