Rosie James

I have never seen anything like this before and after attempting to stitch recently for the Book Fair I really admine Rosie James work. She stitches everyday scenes, normally involving people, in such a human way. They look realistic and so detailed. I really like how you can see the off cuts of thread and the simplicity of the black thread against the white linen. On some of her works she used fabric also which adds another amazing element and makes the whole thing seem more complex. I prefer the purely stitched pieces and really want one!
