The Economist

The Economist is an English-language weekly news and international affairs publication owned by The Economist Newspaper Ltd. and edited in offices in the City of Westminster, London.

First published in September 1843 to take part in a severe contest between intelligence, which pushes forward, and an unworthy, timid ignorance obstructing our progress.

The editorial staff enforces a uniform voice throughout its pages, as if most articles were written by a single author, displaying dry, understated wit, and precise use of language.

I really think they show British wit brilliantly, also 'why kiss ass when you can kick it?' is perfect for our theme.
